In 2022, we rebuilt an approximately 6-mile portion of a 115 kilovolt (kV) electric transmission line between our Chesapeake Energy Center and Great Bridge substations in the City of Chesapeake, Virginia. This section of electric transmission line had been in operation since 1953 and had reached the end of its service life. Rebuilding this line allowed us to continue providing reliable service to the area.
