Clifton Forge Substation

Project Overview

We plan to replace an aging transformer and associated equipment that is nearing the end of its service life. Updating this equipment will help maintain safe and reliable electric service for customers.

It will not be necessary to expand the substation to accommodate this new equipment. However, our team is exploring alternative access roads into the substation, which may impact areas beyond the substation fence.

Benefits

  • Replaces aging infrastructure
  • Strengthens area reliability
