Overview

After nearly 100 years of reliable service, an 11-mile section of electric transmission line built on galvanized steel lattice structures between Craigsville and Goshen substations needs to be replaced to maintain safety and electric reliability for our customers.

  • November 2021 – Announce project to community
  • Q4 2021 – Q1 2022 – Develop project plans and coordinate with localities and stakeholders
  • May 2023 – Hold construction informational meeting with community
  • Summer 2023 – Begin construction
  • End of 2024 – Complete construction
  • Spring 2025 – Complete restoration
