Find a Qualified Contractor*
Dominion Energy South Carolina does not endorse, recommend, or maintain a preferred list of contractors. Customers are responsible for selecting and hiring their own contractor for energy efficiency projects.
To help identify qualified professionals, consider searching the following resources:
- South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR) – Verify licenses and search for qualified mechanical, electrical, and HVAC contractors.
- Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) – Find certified energy professionals with expertise in energy efficiency and energy management.
- U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC) – Locate professionals experienced in sustainable building and energy performance projects.
Before hiring a contractor, we encourage you to verify licensing, insurance, references, and applicable certifications.
Important Note: The resources above are intended to help businesses identify qualified contractors for independent energy efficiency projects. The Small Business Energy Solutions Program uses approved program subcontractors, and participating customers should work directly with their program representative regarding contractor requirements.
