Schedule 10 Data
Schedule 10 is applicable only to non-residential Customers (1) who elect to receive Electricity Supply Service and Electric Delivery Service from the Company and (2) whose peak measured average 30-minute interval demand has reached or exceeded 500 kW during at least three billing months within the previous 12 consecutive billing months immediately prior to the Customer’s effective date for service under this schedule.
This schedule is not available at a location until such time that the Company has installed all necessary metering equipment.
This schedule is not available to Customers electing to participate, either directly or indirectly through a third-party curtailment service provider, in any PJM Interconnection, LLC Demand Response Program or any Company-sponsored peak-shaving demand response program.
Schedule 10 Customers
During the 2023 Biennial Review, the State Corporation Commission of Virginia approved certain changes to Schedule 10 customers that impact you. Here’s what you need to know:
On an annual basis, the Company will notify Schedule 10 customers of the anniversary date for each account 90 days prior to the end of the term. The term of contract for Schedule 10 is in multiplies of one year and continues in one-year terms unless a customer provides a notice of termination 60 days prior to the end of the term. No action is required as a result of this notification unless a Schedule 10 customer wishes to cease taking service under Schedule 10 by switching to another applicable rate schedule.
Today a customer may receive service under Schedule 10 when the Customer’s account has a peak measured average 30-minute interval demand of 500 kilowatts (“kW”) or greater during at least 3 billing months in the last 12 consecutive billing months. What happens when the demand for a Customer’s account drops below 500 kW? If a Customer’s account has a demand that is less than 500 kilowatts during each month for twelve consecutive months beginning with the month of January 2025, the Customer’s account will no longer be eligible to continue to receive service under Schedule 10. Impacted customers will be contacted directly.
