The Smart Home program connects residential customers with smart home technology to make your home more convenient, personalized and energy efficient.
Smart home technology is rapidly evolving, and Dominion Energy is offering rebate incentives on smart home products to help you start saving.
In this program, smart home technologies are offered in a convenient, customizable Smart Home Kit, so that your home benefits from a fully integrated set of compatible smart products. To receive the discounts, the kit items must be purchased online on the program web page.

The Home Energy Assessment program has merged with the Home Energy Evaluation Program on January 1, 2024. Now, you may schedule a 30-60 minute in-home energy assessment through the expanded Home Energy Evaluation Program.
The Home Energy Evaluation Program (previously Home Retrofit and Home Energy Assessment) helps you reduce your energy consumption and costs while improving your home's comfort and efficiency. You can choose between two options: an Introductory Energy Assessment or a Comprehensive Home Energy Audit.

Discover energy savings with a home assessment specifically designed for manufactured housing.
Home energy assessments specifically tailored for the unique needs of manufactured housing are available to help customers identify opportunities to save both energy and money.
Manufactured housing communities should contact the program to learn more about how we can help your community save energy and money.
The Manufactured Housing Program provides customers with a low-cost in-home energy assessment where a qualified participating contractor will conduct a walk-through assessment of your manufactured or mobile home and install simple measures like LED bulbs and water heater pipe insulation, while identifying other opportunities to save energy.
Our pre-qualified contractors can perform both the assessment and the recommended improvements. You may even qualify for financial incentives that help to offset cost of the improvements.

Schedule an assessment with an approved contractor at a time that is convenient for you. They will conduct a 30-60 minute walk-through of your home and install simple measures, while identifying larger energy-saving opportunities. The contractor will work with you to submit the rebate application for work completed at your home, on your behalf.

Find savings for units and common areas with an on-site energy assessment, plus receive incentives for making energy efficient improvements.
The Multifamily Program provides property owners and managers with an on-site energy assessment of both common areas and tenant units.
Our pre-qualified contractors will perform a comprehensive, diagnostic whole-community energy assessment. You will receive recommendations and a report detailing energy-saving improvements you can make to both individual units of participating tenants, as well as common areas.
Plus, property owners who participate will qualify to receive rebates to help you save on any recommended improvements you choose to make.
