Event Notice: Dominion Energy has called a Water Energy Rewards event, an EV Tesla Telematics event, and Peak Time Rebate January 27, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Water Energy Rewards customers may notice a slight decrease in their hot water temperature. EV Rewards & Telematics customers’ EVs will not charge without an override. Peak Time Rebate participants have the opportunity to earn a rebate. Save even more when you enroll your smart thermostat in Smart Thermostat Rewards.
A smart thermostat is a Wi-Fi enabled device that can automatically adjust heating and cooling temperature settings in your home for optimal performance. For the average household, almost half the annual energy bill goes to heating and cooling – more than $900 a year! Being smart about how you control your temperature settings will help you save money and stay comfortable in your home. Customers with a smart thermostat at home can earn additional rewards by participating in the smart thermostat program.
Program Details
Participants help Dominion Energy manage higher energy demands by allowing specific, short-term adjustments to your HVAC system (around 3-4 degrees for 3-4 hours) via your Wi-Fi enabled smart thermostat. You'll always have control, simply change your thermostat settings to opt out of the event.
Customers will receive financial incentives for participating in Smart Thermostat Rewards events.
