EnergyShare^®

EnergyShare® is our year-round assistance program designed to help customers facing financial hardship manage their energy costs. Since expanding into South Carolina in 2020, EnergyShare® has provided millions in utility bill assistance to families, seniors, veterans, and individuals living with disabilities. To qualify, customers must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Customers can apply for up to $1,000 in utility bill assistance through their local Community Action Agency.

Bill Payment Assistance

EnergyShare® is a year-round, financial crisis program of last resort that helps pay energy bills for any type of cooling and heating source.

EnergyShare® is funded by donations from Dominion Energy, employees, and generous customers. Every dollar goes directly to helping neighbors in need.

Contact one of our local partner agencies to start your application. Customer applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine eligibility. If approved, the benefit is paid directly to the customer's energy provider.

While our EnergyShare® for Small Business Program has ended, check out Dominion Energy's Small Business Energy Solutions program.

It offers incentives covering up to 90% of the cost – up to $6,000 – for energy-efficient lighting and HVAC upgrades.
