As electric vehicles get more popular, consider incorporating EV charging stations as part of your next property or building upgrade.
Electric Vehicles (EV) are becoming more popular and most EV owners are able to charge their vehicles at home during overnight hours, but charging opportunities away from home are needed to allow longer trips and increase the confidence of those considering EV purchases.
Many businesses, commercial properties and municipalities are now considering installing charging stations in their parking lots and public garages.
This is the grand titan of all the various EV charging tax credits out there. The Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit (AFITC) is a federal tax credit with a value of 30 percent of the cost of purchasing and installing EV charging hardware, excluding the costs of permitting and inspections. The AFITC goes up to a maximum dollar value of $30,000.
