CCR Rule Compliance Data & Information
April 17, 2015
- The EPA issued a rule known as the CCR Rule under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). This rule sets standards for how coal ash (Coal Combustion Residuals or CCR) must be managed in landfills and ponds.
May 8, 2024
- The EPA added additional regulations to the CCR Rule for legacy CCR surface impoundments and CCR managed units. This ensures these additional units follow the same standards as the unites previously regulated in the CCR Rule.
As required by federal law (40 CFR 257.107), we post data and information on this public website to show that we comply with the CCR Rule.
