Emerging from the global pandemic made 2021 a challenging year for Dominion Energy North Carolina and the customers we serve. However, our company remains committed to providing you with safe, affordable and reliable energy. We also moved into the new year with a clear vision to “fuel the future with clean, sustainable energy solutions guaranteeing excellence in all that we do for the benefit of our customers and communities.”

Amid rising energy prices, we want to help you manage your bills and provide assistance for those in need. For billing and payment assistance information please visit at DominionEnergyNC.com/assistance.To help customers maintain service, we continue to support the Salvation Army Heat Care Fund to help families in need. As always Dominion Energy North Carolina continues to offer customers who are facing financial difficulties more flexible payment options on past-due balances.

I strongly encourage anyone facing financial hardships to use the resources that are available. These payment plans, combined with government energy assistance programs, can help you maintain natural gas service when it’s needed the most.

Safety is at the top of Dominion Energy’s core values. In the face of COVID-19, we took extraordinary steps to protect our customers and our employees. Many of our employees began teleworking while continuing to serve our customers. Our field employees took additional steps at the start of the pandemic to protect customers by wearing specialized personal protective equipment and practicing social distancing techniques to provide service in situations of potential COVID-19 exposure.

In recognition of Dominion Energy North Carolina’s strong track record for safety, the company received the 2020 Safety Achievement Award for Employee Safety by the American Gas Association for our industry leading safety performance. Our strong safety performance continued in 2021.

Net Zero

Dominion Energy previously announced that our company will reach net zero emissions across our entire operations by 2050. It’s our goal to be the most sustainable energy company in the country. Dominion Energy North Carolina continues to reduce emissions by leveraging innovative technology such as the use of Zero Emissions Vacuum and Compression (ZEVAC®) to keep methane gas in our system and out of the atmosphere during maintenance and inspection activity. Previously, methane gas was vented into the atmosphere during this type of work. In addition, Dominion Energy is committed to passing on the importance of sustainability for future generations through its partnership with the National Theater for Children to bring The Time Energy Trek, an interactive livestream performance, to schools across North Carolinas to teach children about the importance of saving energy and ways to conserve natural gas.

New Tools Designed with You in Mind

To make it easier and more convenient to do business with us, our company has developed tools to help you monitor your account and electronically pay your bill. From your desktop, the “Manage Your Account” portal is the ultimate in convenience. Pay your bill, start, stop or transfer service, or analyze your energy use. In addition, the new Dominion Energy app gives you the same features and flexibility from your mobile phones, tablets and other devices. Whichever you choose, consider going digital by adopting eBill and receive timely notifications associated with your account.
