Dominion Gas Distribution Operations ensures safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to 1.3 million customers across Ohio. The organization has three areas of responsibility:

1. Gas Design and GIS

Responsible for all pipeline related designs including Transmission, Gathering, Storage and Distribution pipelines, including:

• the process for residential and small commercial design of new customer connections
• the analysis of our gas infrastructure and recommendations of appropriate replacement and addition strategies
• the maintenance of all mapping systems.

2. Gas Construction and Land Services

Responsible for the proper installation of all new main line construction projects, including all main line replacements and additions in the areas of Transmission, Gathering, Storage and Distribution pipelines.

This group is also responsible for all contractor oversight and control for ongoing projects. The group's Land Services Department researches right-of-way (ROW) information and secures new land arrangements for construction. 3. Gas Operations

Responsible for:

• 24/7 emergency response
• activities related to pipeline code compliance
• pipeline and service line surveillance
• corrosion control
• field service activities including turn on/off
• high bill checks, rereads and meter sets
• contract administration for line locating and leak detection

This group is also the interface with the Customer Service Center, Customer Credit Services and the Customer Billing Services Group.
