Dominion Energy Ohio is proposing to install a compressor at one existing compressor station, modifying three metering and regulating stations and installing one new metering and regulating station in Monroe, Harrison and Tuscarawas counties. These upgrades are required to add capacity to the existing natural gas pipeline system in order to meet growing national energy needs. All of these proposed facility improvements are associated with existing facilities and will be completed on these premises or within the existing road right-of-way. No new pipeline will be required.
The Short Creek project would provide up to 750,000 dekatherms per day of firm off-system transportation service system to provide gas for growing national energy needs. The Northern Deliveries are expected to be in-service by the fourth quarter of 2020 and Southern Deliveries are expected to be in-service during the first or second quarter of 2021. These upgrades are required to add capacity to the existing natural gas pipeline system in order to meet growing national energy needs.
