  • The North Anna Hydro Power Station has a generating capacity of 1 megawatt.
  • The station was formed in 1987 when two hydroelectric generation units became operational using outflows from Lake Anna.
  • The Lake Anna Dam, completed in 1972, is a 5200-foot earthen dam that is 95 feet tall.
