Microgrid
A microgrid is a local electrical grid that can be connected to a large network but can also function independently if disconnected from the larger grid. As approved under the Company’s 10-year Grid Transformation Plan, we are installing a microgrid driven by solar power and battery storage to study and learn how this promising technology can support critical load centers in the future.
