Dominion Energy will install a natural gas line on Lake Wheeler Road south of Donny Brook Road up to Centennial Parkway, then down Centennial Parkway up to Oval Drive beginning in mid-March 2023. The natural gas line will be installed predominantly within public right-of-way. This work is necessary to maintain the safety and reliability of our system, and to keep pace with customer growth in the area.

Dominion Energy and its contractor, B&G, are committed to completing this work with as little inconvenience to the community as possible. To provide room for crews and equipment, some temporary lane restrictions and road closures can be expected. Every effort will be made to maintain access to businesses and driveways in construction zones at all times. No interruption to residents’ natural gas service is anticipated during this project. Construction work is expected to be complete by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
