Project Summary

Dominion Energy will replace an existing pipeline in Cary beginning in July. Replacement work will occur along the south side of East Chatham Street between Reedy Creek Road and Nowell Creek Court in Cary. Work is planned to conclude January 2023 with restoration and clean-up to follow. There will be traffic imparts, most notably on East Chatham Street. Traffic control personnel and devices will be present to help motorist travel safely in the areas impacted. Dominion Energy will also minimize motorist impacts by working during off-peak hours. This project is a part of ensuring continued compliance with regulations while meeting the need for natural gas in this growing area.
