Dominion Energy West Virginia continues to reduce emissions through our ongoing Pipeline Replacement and Expansion Program (PREP). This project involves the replacement of more than 1,000 miles of our company’s 3,146–mile distribution pipeline system. Our pipeline replacement program is a key element in the company’s methane reduction efforts. In addition, PREP utilizes dozens of pipeline contractors and subcontractors across the state, creating job opportunities for residents and promoting West Virginia as a leading state for energy jobs.
