How It Works
On high-demand days – a hot summer day, for example – electricity use spikes, which can strain the grid. Smart Thermostat Rewards helps ease that strain through brief “energy events” that make small, thermostat adjustments. These changes are minor for each participating home, but when many people take part, the impact is significant.
You'll be notified before each energy event, and your home will always stay safe within a few degrees of your usual settings. And if you ever want to opt out of an event, you can.

If you already have an eligible smart thermostat, you can enroll in Smart Thermostat Rewards by answering a few quick questions.
Or visit our online marketplace to buy a new smart thermostat. We offer an instant $50 rebate on all available models – and once you've picked the one that's right for you, simply check a box at checkout to enroll in Smart Thermostat Rewards.
