Rockbridge to Buena Vista

We’re replacing about six miles of aging power lines between Rockbridge and Buena Vista. This upgrade will make sure our community’s homes and businesses have steady, dependable power.

Project Details

This project will replace approximately 6 miles of aging power lines and transmission infrastructure. All work will occur within the existing right-of-way. The current wooden H-frame structures will be replaced with weathering steel H-frame structures while maintaining the existing 115-kilovolt (kV) transmission line voltage.
