Your Electric Charges include usage for the current month (your Meter Reading (measured in kWh) multiplied by your Rate Plan), as well as a fixed monthly Basic Facilities Charge, Renewable Energy Resources Charge (10) and any applicable Tax Rider credit.
These costs go toward our support of renewable energy development and increasing solar generation on the Dominion grid.
Your Gas Charges include usage for the current month (your Meter Reading (measured in Therms) multiplied by your Rate Plan), as well as a fixed monthly Basic Facilities Charge and any applicable Weather Normalization Adjustment (WNA) (12).
Your statement may show a WNA as a credit ("-") if the weather is colder than normal, resulting in a lower rate per therm; or as a charge ("+") if the weather is warmer than normal, resulting in a higher rate per therm. Learn more about WNA.
This section includes charges for unregulated services such as appliance sales, installation, maintenance and repair programs that are not a part of the regulated services offered by Dominion Energy South Carolina.

Your Amount to be Charged is the total of the charges and credits itemized under your Account Summary (2).

Your Electric Charges include usage for the current month (your Total Net kWh multiplied by the tiered rates within your Rate Plan), as well as a fixed monthly Basic Facilities Charge, Renewable Energy Resources (10) charge and any applicable taxes, fees and credits.
The first Meter Reading represents the generation that Dominion Energy delivered to you.
The second Meter Reading shows any leftover solar generation your home did not use during the billing cycle, which was then sent to Dominion's power grid. To see how much solar power your home used during the billing cycle, subtract this amount from your Customer Generation (5).
These costs go toward the support of renewable energy development and increasing solar generation on the Dominion grid.
In this sample, the customer received 1,156 kWh from Dominion Energy and sent excess solar generation of 648 kWh to Dominion Energy. The net difference of 508 kWh is the total month's energy amount for which this customer was billed.
In this sample, the customer received, 1,222 kWh of generation from Dominion Energy and delivered 648 kWh of their own excess generation back to the Dominion Energy grid. The net difference of 574 kWh added to the 1,156 kWh of energy received represents your total energy usage (1,730 kWh) for the month.
This section totals the amount of solar generation produced by your system during this billing cycle, including generation that your home used as well as excess generation that you sent to Dominion Energy. It will always total out to $0.00, since you are never billed for the energy that you produce.
