Due to continued residential, commercial and industrial growth across eastern South Carolina, and to meet the growing demand for safe, affordable and reliable natural gas in the area, Dominion Energy will construct a new 15-mile natural gas line along Old River Road near Kingsburg.

Dominion Energy South Carolina will be the owner and operator of the line, which will parallel an existing 8-inch natural gas line that will remain in service. The project will utilize existing rights of way. Some additional right of way will be required adjacent to the existing easement.

The project will provide the additional capacity and flexibility our system requires to meet both current and anticipated customer needs while also representing our ongoing commitment to provide safe and reliable natural gas service.
