Schedule RG
A renewable energy option for commercial and industrial customers
Schedule RG is a voluntary program for large commercial and industrial customers interested in purchasing renewable energy. These customers are able to select the amount of renewable generation they wish to purchase, as well as the type of energy such as solar or wind.
Customers must agree to purchase the output from a renewable resource of least 1,000 kilowatts in nameplate capacity, which cannot exceed the customer's annual electrical energy load. Customers may combine accounts to participate in Schedule RG.
In the program, Dominion Energy Virginia would sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with a renewable energy generator(s) to procure the energy and environmental attributes on behalf of the customer. In turn, customers would sign a Customer Agreement with Dominion Energy Virginia for the purchase of the renewable energy and attributes.

Yes. Customers can select a specific facility if the facility is interconnected with the PJM power grid and the provider can participate in PJM’s markets. Customers are not required to select a specific facility.
No, the renewable energy resource could be located outside of Virginia if the facility is interconnected with PJM and the provider can participate in PJM’s markets.

The program was approved in 2018 and is available for three years.
The program is capped at 50 customers. A customer with multiple sites would be considered one customer.
Customers must agree to purchase the output from a renewable resource of least 1,000 kilowatts in nameplate capacity. This capacity cannot exceed the customer's annual electrical energy load. Customers may aggregate accounts to participate in Schedule RG. Customers may purchase amounts up to 100% of their energy needs.
