Indiana Solar Projects

Dominion Energy owns a majority interest in multiple solar projects located in Indiana.

Indy Solar I

  • Entered service in December 2013
  • 10 megawatts of electricity at peak output
  • Located on 155 acres of flat agricultural and forest land southeast of Indianapolis in Franklin Township
  • Acquired from Sunrise Energy Ventures, LLC, Minnetonka, MN
  • The project has a 15-year power purchase agreement with Indianapolis Power and Light Company

Indy Solar II

  • Entered service in December 2013
  • 10 megawatts of electricity at peak output
  • Located on 155 acres of flat agricultural and forest land southeast of Indianapolis in Franklin Township
  • Acquired from Sunrise Energy Ventures, LLC, Minnetonka, MN
  • The project has a 15-year power purchase agreement with Indianapolis Power and Light Company

  • Entered service in December 2013
  • 8.6 megawatts of electricity at peak output
  • Located on 134 acres of flat agricultural and forest land southwest of Indianapolis
  • Acquired from Sunrise Energy Ventures, LLC, Minnetonka, MN
