Dominion Energy is installing a new 16-mile natural gas line to meet both current and future energy needs across coastal South Carolina. The South Conway Project – the third phase of enhancement to the Dominion Energy South Carolina (DESC) natural gas infrastructure system – will ensure the availability of safe, reliable and affordable natural gas service to the Horry County region.

We are committed to responsible environmental stewardship – protecting our natural resources before, during and after any project. We have profound respect for the communities we serve, and we look forward to continued engagement with property owners, the surrounding community and other stakeholders.

Following a review of environmental, aesthetic and cultural resource data, this route was chosen to minimize potential impacts to the community and the environment.

Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2023 and the project is expected to be completed by late 2023.
