The project begins in Fairfield County near Hwy 215 and traverses in a southeasterly direction through Fairfield County and ends in Richland County. The line largely runs parallel to Highway 215. Along the way, the corridor crosses Hinnants Store Rd. (Hwy 269), Cedar Creek Rd., Camp Ground Rd., Winnsboro Rd. (Hwy 321), and Koon Store Rd. Other landmarks along the way that the existing route cross include Oak Hills Golf Club.
The majority of this route is away from roadways and largely in rural parts of South Carolina. DESC does not expect there to be any major changes to traffic patterns.
