Dominion Energy conducted its first public workshop on March 21, 2019 to begin the process of informing the community about the upcoming project and to solicit input on information and factors to consider in evaluating and selecting a final route. The company entered Phase II of the transmission line siting process in July 2019 and held a second open house-style workshop that month at the Bluffton Branch Library. Residents and property owners dropped in to learn more about the project, view maps with routes, offer feedback, and ask questions.
