Funding for Ohio programs that support economic and social revitalization projects
Through our Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation, we're able to award $110,000 in grants to nonprofits making an impact in communities throughout Ohio.

The Community Impact Awards competition, co-sponsored by Cleveland Magazine, has awarded more than $1.9 million since 1996 to organizations in our service area. Our 27th anniversary recipients will be announced and featured in a 2022 issue of Cleveland Magazine.

Karamu House
For over a 105-year history, Karamu House has been a place where artistic excellence and cultural responsibility meet and thrive for the African American community. The Social Justice Series provided virtual programs like “Freedom on Juneteenth,” “Freedom After Juneteenth,” panel discussions about the trauma and mental health in the Black community and police violence against African Americans.
Washington State Community College Foundation
Through partnership with local health care providers, the Education and Advancement to Registered Nurses program was designed to guide and support underserved, low-income, first-generation college students who face unique challenges that can be barriers to success.
