Dominion Energy Market-Based Rate Pilot Request Form

Participation in Dominion Energy’s Market-Based Rate Pilot is available for eligible customers on a first-come, first-served basis. Please provide the requested information on this page and click Submit to reserve your space on the list. After receiving your submission, Dominion Energy will determine if your account is eligible to participate in the Market-Based Rate Pilot. Dominion Energy will inform you of your account’s eligibility for the Market-Based Rate Pilot by email.

If your account meets the applicability and availability provisions of the Market-Based-Rate, Dominion Energy’s email will also notify you that it has begun a review of any special metering requirements needed to bill your account on the Market-Based-Rate. Please note that special metering requirements may result in a cost to you. Dominion Energy will send you a follow-up email concerning the results of its review, including a description of any special metering requirements for the account and the expected costs. If special metering equipment is needed for your account, you will be required to complete a written authorization agreeing to pay for the installation of the special metering equipment.

In addition, you will be required to complete and submit a notarized Affidavit, which must be signed by an authorized representative of your company. You will have 30 calendar days to complete and submit the authorization for the special metering equipment and the Affidavit. Failure to submit your authorization and Affidavit within 30 calendar days will result in the loss of your reserved space in the Market-Based Rate Pilot.

Lastly, Dominion Energy will require an Agreement for Electric Service for the Market-Based-Rate. Dominion Energy’s Customer Contracts team will contact you to coordinate that agreement. Once the agreement is presented to you, failure to return an executed original of the agreement to Dominion Energy within 30 calendar days will result in the loss of your reserved space for participation in the Market-Based-Rate Pilot.
