Dominion’s Chief Executive Officer Thomas F. Farrell, II, was on hand in Yokohama, Japan this week to celebrate the arrival of the first shipment of liquefied natural gas from the Dominion Energy Cove Point LNG facility in Lusby, MD.

Permits & Approvals

Prior to construction, numerous local, state and federal permits and clearances were obtained. The permits address all natural resources (pdf) – land, air, water, vegetation and wildlife, as well as the interests of the general public.
