Solvay Solar Energy Facility

  • Entered service in December 2017.
  • Installed capacity of 71.4-megawatts (AC).
  • Will occupy nearly 900 acres in Jasper County near Ridgeland, S.C.
  • Electrical output sold to South Carolina Electric & Gas under long-term power purchase agreement (PPA).
  • Renewable energy certificates (RECs) sold to Solvay, an international chemicals and advanced materials company.
  • Acquired from Adger Solar in November 2016.

Ridgeland Solar Project

  • Entered service in May 2017.
  • Installed capacity of 10-megawatts (AC).
  • Will occupy about 80 acres in Ridgeland, S.C.
  • Electrical output sold to South Carolina Electric & Gas (SCE&G) under long-term power purchase agreement (PPA).
  • Renewable energy credits will also be retained by SCE&G.
  • Acquired from Adger Solar in November 2016.

Seabrook

  • 72 megawatts
  • Constructed on approximately 628 acres in Beaufort County, South Carolina
  • Ground mounted single axis tracking facility that contains approximately 220,128 photovoltaic panels
  • Began operating in December 2019
  • Developed by First Solar
  • Provides power and renewable energy attributes under a contract with Dominion Energy South Carolina that was previously filed and accepted by the South Carolina Public Service Commission
