- 83-megawatt fueled by renewable biomass.
- Operation began in 1994.
- An estimated 3,300 tons of waste wood or about 150 truckloads is unloaded each day at the station (no trees are cut down to produce this energy).
- Ash produced at the station is reused as traditional fertilizer at local farms and as landfill cover.
- Ash produced at the station is provided to local farmers who use it to improve the soil for their crops.
