Volunteers of the Year

To pay tribute to our volunteers’ outstanding work in the community, we hold an annual recognition banquet in Virginia and Ohio. Since 1984, over 300 Dominion Energy employees have been honored by their peers as Volunteers of the Year. Each year, employees are chosen by a panel of community leaders for their exemplary community service. We makes a financial contribution in the name of the award winners to a non-profit organization of their choosing.

In 2014, the annual Volunteer Awards Program was renamed the Benjamin J. Lambert, III, Volunteer of the Year Awards to honor his memory and his distinguished service to Dominion Energy and the community. Learn more about Benjamin J. Lambert, III
