Home Energy Reports offer in-depth insights into your home’s energy use, providing you with ways to save energy and money. Customers who are selected for participation will receive custom email and print reports along with access to online tools and an energy advisor for assistance.

Learning about your home’s energy use is the first step to saving. Your Home Energy Report includes modules and graphs that provide detailed information about how your home uses energy, so you can find smart ways to make it more efficient.
Plus, our energy advisors are ready to help you develop a plan to save using the tips you receive in the report and can suggest ways to save that work for you and your home. We’re committed to helping you become more energy efficient!

Home Energy Reports offer in-depth insights into your home’s energy use, providing you with ways to save energy and money. Customers who are selected for participation will receive custom email and print reports along with access to online tools and knowledgeable energy advisors for assistance.
Customers are selected at random based on their energy usage.
You will receive your Home Energy Report every month via email and every other month by mail.
Your energy use is compared to the usage patterns of a group of about 100 neighbors whose homes are in close proximity to yours, and similar in size and characteristics. Characteristics that typically lead to similar energy needs include home size, type of ownership, and heating source. We only include homes that appear to be occupied at the time of the comparison. These comparisons are completely anonymous, and no customer’s personal information or individual energy use is released.
Our comparisons include 100 similar, nearby, occupied homes, and our research indicates that this 100 home average is a good indication of typical usage. To ensure we are comparing your home as precisely as possible, call us at 855-861-0157 to share more information about your home.
There are certain steps any household can take to reduce energy use, including using a smart thermostat to manage heating and cooling, turning off lights when not in use, and running full loads in their dishwasher, washer and dryer. Dominion’s Home Energy Reports provide you with detailed information and easy steps to help you be as efficient as possible with home energy use.
The square footage of your home that we use in the Home Energy Report is based on data that we collect from public government sources about your home. If the square footage on your report is not correct, you can change it by calling us at 855-861-0157 to share more information about your home.
