Rebates are available for certain equipment and improvements, including:
- Refrigerator Systems such as ECM fan motors, refrigerator doors, door gaskets, strip curtains, auto closers, anti-sweat door films and night covers for display cases.
- ENERGY STAR® certified appliances such as electric fryers, griddles, convection ovens and combination ovens. Ice makers.
- HVAC system tune-up for air conditioners, heat pumps and chillers.
- Duct testing and sealing for air conditioners, heat pumps and chillers.
- Water energy appliances, such as commercial dishwashers, clothes washers, pool pumps, and heat pump water heaters.

These members are contractors and vendors who sell, install, and advise business customers on energy efficiency improvements to your facilities.

Follow these steps to enroll and submit a project application:
- Enroll on the Online Portal
- Download the Custom Workbook
- Log in to the Online Portal
- Start a new application
- Complete all required fields
- Upload all required documents which includes:
- Application workbook
- Manufacturer spec sheets
- Form W-9
- Tax Exempt letter if applicable
- Letter of Authorization - required if TA is acting on behalf of the customer
- Customer’s utility bill
- Project invoices
- Submit application in the Online Portal
- Check application status by logging into the Online Portal
- ncentive check mailed 4-6 weeks after application approval
Note: All Custom projects require pre-approval before installation of equipment. Projects are subject to random inspections.

Trade Allies are valued ambassadors serving Dominion Energy customers in Virginia. A trade ally is a partner-contractor that distributes, sells, or installs energy-efficient equipment to participating Dominion Energy Custom Program customers and assists them with the incentive application process. To qualify for incentives, Dominion Energy business customers must use a registered trade ally. Join today and become a registered trade ally to assist with our customer projects.

How to Apply for the Trade Ally Network:
- Complete the online Trade Ally Network application. To complete your application, you will need to provide basic applicant information and the following documents:
- Department of Professional & Occupational Regulation (DPOR) License
- Certificate of Insurance (COI)
- Health & Safety Verification
- Tradesman License
- Complete the Trade Ally training
