The Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) is the most trusted source of performance certification for HVAC equipment. AHRI tests the performance of equipment and assigns a unique identifying number, which can then be used to look up performance information to include the SEER, EER and HSPF ratings. Your HVAC contractor should provide the AHRI number on your application.
