Caring for Our Military, Veterans, and Their Families

Energy Efficient Homes for Our Veterans

Since 1982, Dominion Energy’s comprehensive year-round energy assistance program, EnergyShare, has helped members in the communities we serve with their energy needs. The program’s bill payment assistance provides immediate relief to those experiencing a financial hardship, dedicating additional resources to military veterans through a special partnership administered by the Department of Veteran Services.

Dominion Energy Charity Classic

This PGA TOUR Champions playoff event has generated more than $11.7 million for charity since inception in 2016, with tournament proceeds going to veterans charities. The Charity Classic has become the largest single fundraising event in the Richmond region.

Volunteerism

We've spearheaded initiatives to support veterans and their families, including: installing access ramps, supporting wounded warriors, and weatherizing homes.

EnergyShare®

10,500 Military Veterans have been assisted by EnergyShare since the program’s expansion in 2015.

Federal Energy Solutions

Our mission-critical service to help federal agencies meet energy-related goals has resulted in an Award for Excellence and recognition by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for outstanding performance.
