Squirrels Solar

Overview

The Squirrels Solar project reflects our commitment to delivering the reliable, affordable, increasingly clean energy that powers our customers every day.

  • The solar facility will generate ~1 megawatt of carbon-free energy, which is enough energy to serve approximately 250 homes at peak output.
  • The project will be an anchor of electricity supply for the new Diamond District development at the CarMax Park.
  • The Squirrels Solar project takes its name from the Flying Squirrels baseball team, a Double-A affiliate of the San Franscisco Giants.
