Septa-Yadkin

Project Overview

Powerlines Landscape
We are proposing to rebuild an aging 500 kilovolt (kV) electric transmission line between our Septa and Yadkin substations. The structures and related components along this 33.1-mile corridor running through Isle of Wight, Suffolk and Chesapeake, Virginia, have reached the end of their life service and need to be replaced to maintain reliability. This project requires no new right of way.

Community Meeting

You are invited to our community meeting to learn more about the Septa-Yadkin 500kV Electric Transmission Project. Our project team members will be in attendance to discuss routing options, answer your questions and review project plans.
