Park Center

230 kV Electric Transmission Line and Substation Project

Lineworker in front of Dominion Energy truck
As data centers continue to develop, new electric infrastructure is needed to help strengthen the bulk electricity grid and maintain reliable service for our customers. This project includes a new substation, known as Park Center Substation, in Fairfax County. New 230 kilovolt (kV) electric transmission lines will be needed to connect the Park Center Substation to an existing transmission line just west of the substation. New right of way is needed for this project. We are currently reviewing three routing options for this double-circuit transmission line, all of which are just about or less than a quarter of a mile.
