How can we help you?

Highway 78 Widening
To meet the growing needs of the communities we serve, Dominion Energy will relocate approximately 1.3 miles of 115-kilovolt(kV) electric transmission line to accommodate the widening of U.S. Highway 78 in Summerville, SC.
Dominion Energy and its contractors will replace existing wood poles with self-supporting galvanized steel structures. The work will occur between the Summerville Industrial Park substation near O.T. Wallace Drive and the Linq Substation near the Eastport Industrial Complex. The project will include the acquisition of additional rights of way for the relocation. The new lines will be designed to meet all modern electric codes as well as provide additional reliability to our customers.
