At Dominion Energy, we are committed to providing safe and reliable energy to the communities we serve. Our proactive year-round inspection and maintenance program has identified an electric transmission line that requires replacement and rebuilding.

Dominion Energy South Carolina contractors will replace existing wooden poles along a 15-mile corridor in Jasper and Beaufort counties, SC. This rebuild of the the Hardeeville-Bluffton 115 kV line will use self-supporting galvanized steel structures and meet all modern electric codes. The line will be rebuilt exclusively on existing rights of way and provide additional reliability and resiliency to the areas along the route.

Benefits

  • Maintains current right of way
  • New structures located in the same general location as existing structures
  • Complies with mandatory standards to ensure safety, reliability and to meet future needs
