Cemetery Road
230 kV Transmission Line and Substation
Project Overview
We are building a new Cemetery Road 115 kilovolt (kV) Substation southeast of Chase City in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. This project will improve electric reliability for all area customers. Cemetery Road Substation will serve a new natural gas compressor station, which was approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
We are also building an approximately 0.1-mile 115 kV transmission line from a nearby line to connect the new substation to the electric grid.
